The Last Unicorn

When the last eagle flies over the last crumbling mountain,
And the last lion roars at the last dusty fountain,
In the shadow of the forest, though she may be old and worn,
They will stare, unbelieving, at the last unicorn…

When the first breath of winter through the flowers is icing,
And you look to the north, and a pale moon is rising,
And it seems like all is dying,
and would leave the world to mourn,
In the distance, hear the laughter of the last unicorn
I’m Alive,
I’m Alive

When the last moon is cast over the last star of morning,
And the future has passed without even a last desperate warning,
Then look into the stars, where through the clouds a path is torn,
Look and see her, how she sparkles, it’s the last unicorn
I’m Alive!
I’m Alive!

things i thank god for:

  • not making me straight

how is this okay? making Hetrophobic jokes isn’t going to make you any better a person than the homophobic asshats out there.

things i thank god for:

  • not making me straight

lol
that time my parents’ preacher gave a whole litany of “thank god I’m _____” in a sermon
and one of them was “thank god I’m straight!”
but then the next was “thank god I’m gay!”
and idk but maybe some people went home from church that day with a little more perspective

"FEELS" HAS BEEN A LEGIT TERM SINCE AT LEAST 1782:

The Duchess, by Amanda Foreman.

Georgiana, Duchess of Devonshire, really wrote a real letter to her mother complaining about the feels in 1782.

I love everything.

Is it legal for a prospective employer to ask you what medications you’re on?

this is so important that i’m reblogging it. NO. NO IT IS NOT. read more.

Very important! All my chronic condition people take note.

To add: NOT EVEN if they require you take a drug test for employment. You NEVER have to give a med list to an employer.

If a drug test shows positive for a substance, an actual DOCTOR should be reviewing the result and calling you to verify you have a prescription for whatever it is. NEVER the employer. That is completely illegal and you should report anyone who tries it.
